Rev. Thomas pastored several churches in Jamaica, West Indies, before migrating to the United States. He has served in various capacities within the Jamaica Conference of the United Brethren Church in Christ.

Presently, he is the senior pastor of the First Church of the United Brethren in Christ, Inc, situated at 3822 White Plains Road, Bronx, New York; and a teacher of English Literature at Hempstead High School in Hempstead, Long Island.
Pastor Thomas gives definition to the concept of vision. He came to First Church at a critical and crucial juncture; and through his leadership, the congregation purchased its own sanctuary, a first in fourteen years. He has diversified the ministries of the church and positioned it to move to the next level of growth.
Michelle Andrea Campbell-Thomas is the pastor’s wife and first lady of the church; she is a graduate of Adelphi University. Presently, she works as a school nurse for the Board of Education in New York. The couple has one son, Linton Thomas, and one daughter, Abigail Thomas.
